ATMEL microcontroller-based models process level-sensor inputs and apply the control logic configured for the application. Pump start, tank-full cutoff, delivery monitoring and restart conditions are coordinated according to the selected model.
Low-AC sensing helps reduce electrode polarization and corrosion at the sensing probes. It supports dependable level monitoring when the probes, wiring and installation suit the water and tank conditions.
Suitable SS316 stainless steel or carbon probes provide conductive level sensing without a moving float mechanism. This avoids float-mechanism wear at the sensing point and supports low-maintenance operation. Deposits may still require inspection or cleaning.
Select model-specific dry-run protection, voltage cutoff, surge protection and source-recovery timers. Relay and starter arrangements must match the motor rating and pump phase. The heavy-duty ULDX-HA-02 uses a 40A power relay; ULDX-01 uses a 30A T-type relay.
Choose logic for one tank, dual tanks, multiple tanks, sump–borewell source changeover or multi-pump operation. Scheduled-start and source-recovery timers serve different needs, so we match the controller to the actual water path.

ATMEL LOGIC & LONG-TERM OPERATION
Microcontroller logic links sensing, pump demand and model-specific protection. Durable operation also depends on the correct relay or starter, suitable probes and a sound installation.
In ATMEL microcontroller-based models, tank-level and configured protection inputs are processed by the controller logic. The system decides when the compatible pump should start, continue, stop or wait for the configured restart condition. Available inputs and operating sequences depend on the model.
A low-yield borewell recovery timer waits after loss of delivery; a real-time timer starts at programmed daily times. Dual-tank, source-changeover and multi-pump models follow their own tank and pump arrangements. These functions are selected for the application rather than assumed to be identical across the range.
Low-AC sensing helps reduce electrode polarization and corrosion. Suitable SS316 or carbon conductive probes do not need a moving float mechanism to sense water level. Water quality and deposits still matter: inspect probes and wiring if indications become unreliable, and use the care instructions for your installation.
Match the controller, relay or starter to the motor rating; use suitable sensor wiring and probes; provide correct earthing and electrical protection; and address leaks, deposits or repeated fault indications promptly. A microcontroller does not remove these installation and care requirements. Confirm the model's features and written warranty before ordering.
